Ukrainian Smile by Alyson AgarVehicles

"Ukrainian Smile is a collection of photographs taken as part of an artist residency with Collective 26:86 in Ukraine, 2016. The photographs are rooted in psychogeographic practice, with an impetus in the intuitive exploration of an unknown environment. Akyson Agar, 2016"

A paper Zine with images accompanied with captions in a Slavic language, most likely Russian or Ukrainian.

"We are artists and designers with a common creative goal. We travelled to Chernobyl and Pripyat in the Ukraine to investigate the issues at the site on the 30th anniversary of the world’s biggest and most devastating nuclear disaster. This trip inspired a multi-disciplined body of work which will be exhibited with the intention of raising awareness of relevant, weighty and significant issues regarding nuclear energy within our communities today."
