Andrea Jespersen hosts two cross-disciplinary talks, as part of her exhibition, Mind Circles. This second talk with Dr Cristiana Cavina Pratesi, a research fellow in the department of Psychology at Durham University, explores neuroscience, perception and the brain, one of the artists interests and inspirations behind the work exhibited. Mind Circles is an exhibition exploring the notion of conceptual artwork, how it is produced and fundamentally how the research which supports the work is presented to the public. Through the display of twelve large scale photographs, a single video installation and a series of public talks, Andrea Jespersen aims to open up the processes behind her practice to the wider public. |
