Description |
Since his earliest exhibitions in the late 1970s, the British artist, Andrew Lord has experimented with clay, plaster, beeswax, bronze, drawing, printmaking and video. This publication provides the first overview of the artist’s career, charting the development of his practice from the observation of nature and quotation of modern art to body casts and evocations of childhood memories.
The publication is an expanded version of two consecutive exhibitions at Santa Monica Museum of Art and Milton Keynes Gallery 2010. Includes an interview with James Rondeau.
