Orchard Park is a series of photographs created in a lone tower block during the long hiatus between the buildings abandonment by its residents and its eventual demolition. Their 'alien' green hues and rich saturated blacks are the result of a complex photographic process developed by the artist, resulting in abstract and dreamlike images. This full colour publication includes an extended essay by Alison Nordstrom, Curator of Photographs at George Eastman House, Rochester, USA. Orchard Park is the third in Impressions' imPRESS series, a collectable edition of fully illustrated pocket books on photography. |
