Archive Shelf Location 6A5 (9)
Publication Date 15 May 2008
Description

Doctor in Sociology and Political Science by the University of the Basque Country (Bilbao, Spain) and currently a lecturer in Critical Human Geography at the University of Leeds (UK), I have worked and done research in Newcastle, Milan, Bilbao and Leeds. My research focuses generally on issues of territorial governance and in particular on questions of uneven development and territorial injustice in a context of globalisation and neoliberalization. My research has so far been concentrated on urban and regional development where my aim is to unpack public policy discourses of governance, competitiveness, economic growth and internationalisation. I have explored these questions in cities and regions in Europe with especial attention to the UK, Italy and Spain.
