Description |
'Anti-Memory' is the second exhibition in our on-going series on contemporary photography. The first exhibition was titled 'Contemporary Photography: Absolute Landscape Between Reality and Illusion' (February 1-March 30, 1997). It exhibited works by contemporary photographers who do not represent reality as absolutlely true but who try to allude to the even more real landscapes in casual scenes, artists' personal images, and staged settings. Following the trend set by the first exhibition, in 'Anti-Memory we will explore new ways of dealing with such images through video and film works as well as through photography. |
