Cortesi Contemporary is pleased to announce the opening of its new gallery space, completely renovated in a prestigious building in the center of Lugano.
The cultural project, born from the initiative of Stefano Cortesi, intends to become a meeting ground for collectors, scholars and art lovers, and a bridge between the cultural world and the market, promoting and fostering familiarity with the artistic movements that have come out of Europe from the '60s to the present.
The gallery will be inaugurated with the show “Arte Italiana '60-'90”, an exhibition that follows the line of thought of Stefano Cortesi as collector.
The new gallery space of 200 m² has been designed by Studio Albera Monti of Milan in collaboration with the Swiss architect Attilio Panzeri, author of the renovation of the entire building.
