BALTIC hosts a marketplace of exhibiting and selling book stalls from artists, bookmakers, small press publishers, artist's groups, zine artists and bookbinders. A programme of talks, workshops, performances and screenings offer exciting opportunities to get involved and learn more about artists' books.
Artist’s Talk: One Book, Two Ways, Lydia Wysocki
Lydia Wysocki will talk about UNpearABLE, 8 short comics about pears created in the Grainger Market, Newcastle. UNpearABLE is one book, two ways. One way took less time, skill and cheaper materials. Another way took more time, skill, more expensive materials, and print studio hire. This talk is about the space between artist’s books and small press comics. |
