AV festival is an international festival of electronic arts, music and moving image. This DVD is a documentary of the entire 2008 festival, exploring the theme of broadcast.
The documentary includes 3 projects performed at BALTIC: Variations VII, one of John Cage's most noted performances recreated for the first time in the UK; Yokomono, one of the best known projects of Staalplaat Soundsystem and SCATTER!, Marko Peljhan's latest collaborative performance and the extraordinary closing event of AV Festival 08.
The documentary was filmed, edited and directed by Film Bee, a filmmaking collective based in Newcastle upon Tyne. |
