Description |
At first glance the title seems refreshingly simple. In two words it gives us an idea of what it is all about. First after a few seconds, when we realise that neither the body nor its actions are independant of their surroundings, does the full complexity come clear. The body in action is aesthetic, as it has devoured what itself holds to be natural; organic movement, metabolism, procreation. The acting body does not, it chisels. Sensory impressions ensue like measures induced by this body. The acting body is a subject of art. The searchlight intrudes with much greater intensity. After all, how does new knowledge arise? |
