Description In 2003 the Gallery of Photography, Dublin and DARA Training and consultancy conceived a significant research and training project to help address the legacy of the conflict. The Borderline Project set out to listen to, and collect personal testimonies from over 100 people, reflecting a diverse range of backgrounds, genders and age groups along the length of the border of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland . To date the Borderlines project has had three major outcomes: This substantial, beautifully produced and illustrated book containing abridged narratives of the oral transcripts with photographic images. Feb 2007. Borderlines exhibition- a touring exhibition installed in five museums along the border, including, (Dublin Gallery of Photography, Derry Harbour Museum, Louth County Museum, Newry and Mourne Museum, Enniskillen Castle have happened- Donegal County Museum is scheduled for February 2008 and Monaghan later in 2008) Borderlines digital oral archive. This archive containing oral and transcribed interviews and photographic images is currently being completed and will be in custodianship of the above museums as well as The Linen Hall Library in Belfast
