Based in New York, Dan Graham is one of the most influential Conceptual Artists who first emerged in the mid 1960s alongside Minimalist such as Dan Flavin and Sol LeWitt. While their work critiqued art's physical context, Graham began to question the art system more fundamentally, and from 1965-69 produce much of his work outside gallery contexts.
