This publication produced on the occasion of David Reynolds’ solo exhibition, entitled Do Cyborgs Dream Of Electric Queers? at The Auxiliary in Middlesbrough, is an attempt to queer the affects and aesthetics of Science Fiction. His digital animations, sculptures and texts (underpinned by a research practice influenced by classical and contemporary theorists from Plato to David Hume and José Esteban Muñoz) ponder questions of queer narrative chronology and consider the ways in which our quotidian concerns impact attempts at future queer world building.
