Over four days all the pupils of year 8 at Duke's Middle School had the opportunity to employ various animation and film techniques in order to produce a 4-minute film for their centenary celebrations Pupils visited BALTIC and the Globe Gallery on their school trip. They participated in animation workshops at the Globe Gallery, based on 'Interlace' installation. They also saw the work of Susan Hiller and were particularly interested in the way Hiller had used sound and objects in her work. Pupils had also visited BALTIC during Jane and Louise Wilson's exhibition the year before |
