Description |
Embody is the first international glass exhibition to be specially commissioned by the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art. The exhibition draws a parallel between the inherent fragility and strength of glass and the human body. From senses of taste, touch and sight, to exploration of breath, chemical processes, mortality, interior and exterior form the exhibition explores how the body interacts with and is defined by its environment. The use of glass as the meduim for exploring ideas surrounding the body is integral to each work. |
