Description 13 of Britain’s most innovative fashion designers were invited to make new work in response to the magnificent neo-classical mansion Belsay Hall, Northumberland. They filled the hall, 14th century castle and the grade 1 listed gardens with art installations rather than garments. Designers included Alexander McQueen, Zandra Rhodes, Paul Smith, Agent Provocateur, and Stella McCartney with one of the highlights of the exhibition, the stunning crystal horse Lucky Spot.
