Felicity Aylieff: Sense and Perception
Library Shelf Location
18.AYLI
Publication Date
2002
Description
'Sense and Perception’ is Bath-based artist Felicity Aylieff’s first major solo exhibition at the Victoria Art Gallery and is part of a nation-wide tour organised by Manchester City Galleries. The exhibits are large in scale and are instantly accessible because they stand directly on the floor. The polished surfaces of the exhibits demand investigation by hand as well as eye – an impulse Aylieff has responded to by allowing visitors to explore the different shapes and textures of the sculptures by touch.
