Abstract |
Both in the UK and abroad, George Rodger's name is most closely associted in the public's mind with the foundation of the world's first co-operative photography agency, Magnum. Still flourishing tday, its formation was a testament to the enthusiasm and ideals of its founder members who saw it as a means of providing an infrastructure to support an international fraternity of independent photographers.
