Description |
The "Global (e) Resistance" exhibition sets new milestones in the history of the collection of the National Museum of Modern Art, Center Pompidou, through more than a hundred works - acquired over the past decade - contemporary artists mostly from the "South" (Africa, Middle East, Asia, Latin America). She questions the strategies of aesthetic and ethical resistance implemented by these artists. From political struggles to postcolonial issues, including ecology or gender issues, the artists respond to the urgency of the present times while offering alternatives. |
