Description |
Intimations of Mortality aims to introduce unorthodox and unfamiliar ideas, interpretations and practice in photography rather than confirming existing reputations and categorisations. In pushing back boundaries to reveal new work and little-known artists, it gives prominence to images by British photographers, many of which have not been previously published.
INCLUDES THE ESSAY: 'The Wait: Barthes, Kienholz, Photography and Death' by Stephanie Brown on pages 14-27 |
