Racial Makeup is Dart scrapbook and part artist's book. Portugese artist Juliao Sarmento has Collected drawings, photographs, Polaroids, and newspaper clippings from nis visit to Kitakyushu, Japan. Sarmento has assembled these materials in a simple brown notebook with lined pages, using his assembled articles like pressings in a well-worn book. |
