he Order of Things is a collection of images, research, references and quotes compiled as part of the production process of the film commission of the same name. The publication serves as a partner or guidebook to the film, which makes abstract many of these reference points. It contains references to and short excerpts from Foucault, Will Self, The Appearance of Bridges (The Royal Fine Art Commission 1962), Chris Frith and Alan St Clare Gibson to name a few.
