Atkin graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2005, since she has concentrated largely on drawing, the subject of her acclaimed finals display. Her work, although rigorous in execution, retains great textural life, the image naturalistic in origin but non-representational in composition. Atkin has recently fulfilled a productive residency in Wyoming USA and in 2008, work of hers was chosen by Richard Cork for A Life of Their Own at Lismore Castle |
