Katy Dove (1970 - 2015) was a much loved Scotland based artist who produced work in a variety of media including collage, sound, printmaking, photography, painting, animation and video. This publication accompanies the Katy Dove exhibitions at Dundee Contemporary Arts in 2016, and Inverness Museum & Art Gallery, Thurso Art Gallery and St Fergus Gallery, Wick in 2017. It is co-published by Dundee Contemporary Arts and High Life Highland. Simply entitled Katy Dove, it features contributions from Graham Domke, Kirsten Body, Laurence Figgis, Neil Mulholland, Victoria Morton and Katy Dove. Designed by Valerie Norris, the publication features documentation of the exhibition at DCA and also includes stills from many of the late artist's animations. |
