The book shows three series of drawings by Letizia Werth. The artist frequently works with image material she has come across, which she translates and reinterprets in various different media in her artistic production. Alongside the drawings, Letizia Werth also creates socalled dust works in the form of images, objects and installations. The latest work from this series, which began in 2002, is a film that shows the artist using a broom to form the famous phrase a rose is a rose in dust on the floor of the workshop. The book also documents Werth’s dust garden and dust cultivation. |
