Lone Twin’s work is unique and perhaps without category. Their continuous and progressive exploration of our ideas of place, journey, culture and geography opens up thinking and immediately finds new audiences. It feeds upon the diversity and richness of urban and rural locations – whether it be an engagement with colchester’s garrison commnity or a specific discussion with the celebrated local author Ronald Blythe. This ability to bridge the divides of (a) place, to find a new location by moving the parameters of perception is at the heart of Lone Twin’s work.
