Illustated talk by Dr. Louise Milne in the BALTIC cinema, Thursday 13th May 2004. Louise Milne introduces the recent practice of Susan Hiller in particular Witness (2000) and BALTIC's new commission Clinic (2004). Louise is a lecturer in Critical Theory in the department of Photography, Film and Imaging at Napier University, Edinburgh and is currently writing a book on the history of dreams, nightmares and visual imagination. Her essay On the Side of Angels: Witness and other works is featured in the exhibition catalogue Recall. |
