In Mikyung Kim's texile works the overlap of meanings is apparent in the landscapes that the words spread out. It shows sometimes just as meanings of words are overlapped whenever they are spoken as in case of repeated oil painting, and somtimes just as the surface of sea is shown in different ways according to the way of light. |
