A window into the working life of American artist Milton Avery, this special edition, two-volume publication includes a facsimile of a 200-page sketchbook completed by Avery in the South of France in 1952, and a picture essay of the artist’s New York home and studio, by the photographer, Gautier Deblonde.
Home and Studio / A Sketchbook was published to accompany a new exhibition of work by Avery at Victoria Miro, London (7 June – 29 July 2017).
