Abstract
The exoticism of the unknown is definitely one of those vital driving forces that can make us long to start planning a journey and finally setting off. Journeys always have a whiff of adventure about them. This makes he enterprise an ambivilent one: setting off, being on the way, arriving, all in all a trasitory border crossing that even in our days of highly mobile amd technological societies is still associated with danger and minor difficulties.
