It presents 28 case studies of new media art projects supported by the Arts Council England Visual Arts Department, since the mid 1990s and includes: 7 newly commissioned essays, 10 reprint texts, 4 discussions and 2 artist text pieces. It presents wide-ranging voices and approaches to new media practice and illustrates the extraordinary breadth and diversity of the constituencies and cultures of the new media artistic landscape in the UK between 1994 and 2004.
