This report, written by Eibhlín Campbell and Anne Gallagher, presents the results of research undertaken as part of the Breaking the Cycle/ IMMA project of the Department of Education & Science and IMMA. The project ran from 1997 to 2001, working with a number of schools designated by the Government as disadvantaged. The report explores the impact of the project on children, teachers and artists. It proposes a framework for collaboration in arts education partnerships, and it makes recommendations for future initiatives. |
