Abstract |
Whether an extraordinary oversight or curious anomaly, it does seem strange that Robert polidori's merticulously observed, large-scale colour photographs, widely published and shown in the US, France and Germany, have never before been the subject of a dedicated solo exhibition in London. Although Britian may now pride itself on being at the forefront of contemporary art practice in every medium, particularly with regard to certain much-vaunted home grown talents, given any degree of hindsight this exhibition seems long overdue. |
