'29' is a selection of photographs by Sam Telford. The images were chosen from a large pool of double exposures taken through 2018-2021. The more abstract double exposure technique and framing came out frustration and boredom with more typical portrait style photography.

The selection has been a titled after the photographer's twenty ninth birthday and the pictures also serve as a visual summary of being twenty nine in 2021. Each photograph is almost like a collage with up to four images being present in one. The artist has used reflection, architecture and mid-noughties nostalgia throughout the zine.

The zine is limited to 29 copies and each one will be hand numbered by the artist. The zine will be accompanied by a month long exhibition at the Elder Beer Cafe, Heaton, Newcastle opening on September 7th 2021.
