Integrating the practice of witchcraft with the emergent science of synthetic biology, the artist highlights the rifts between science and experimental folk culture. Working in residence in a synthetic biology wet-lab, she has constructed a synthetic life, animated by witchcraft and viewed through a scrying device. |
