Description |
Born in Vancuover in 1960, Stan Douglas has now produced close to twenty works. He is already considered as the artist who has marked a turning point in terms of conception with the media, both in music (Beethoven, Schonberg, Free-Jazz) and image (photography, cinema, video...). Peter Culley, a poet who has been closely involved with Stan Douglas' projects, examines the musical aspect of his work while Jean-Christophe Royoux, art theorist, analyses its structure. |
