Stan Douglas: Journey Into Fear
Library Shelf Location
18.DOUG
Publication Date
Feb 2002
Description
Douglas is one of the most significant video artists to have emerged in the 1990s. His intricate and emotive film installations are concerned with complex psychological states such as repressed collective memories, forgotten histories and social alienation. This book documents Douglas's major new film installation showing at the Serpentine Gallery (27 February - 7 April 2002). The work is based on Journey into Fear, a twice-filmed thriller based on the espionage novel by Eric Ambler.
