"Eye to Eye" is a retrospection of the last fifteen years (1987-2002) on the work of the British artist Stephen Chambers. Concerning the title of the exhibition, Stephen Chambers mentions: "I'm trying to make a kind of silent conversation. Often noses and mouths get left out. When that first happened it wasn't a conscious decision. There just seemed to be enough. It was inviting an eyeball-to-eyeball wordless encounter".
