Stevie Ronnie was born in Newcastle in 1976 and spent much of his childhood in rural Northumberland. He returned to the North East in 2002 after spending six years living in Nottingham, London and Vienna.
His work has appeared in magazines such as Other Poetry, Envoi and Orbis. A selection of his poems was shortlisted for the 2007 Poetry Can competition and later that year Stevie received a research studentship from Newcastle University to begin work on a PhD in creative writing.
The Thing To Do When You Are Not In Love is his first publication. Stevie is currently continuing with his PhD research whilst working as a freelance writer, tutor and researcher. |
