The Art of Misdirection brings together eminent researchers and practitioners in arts, geography, history and politics. This interdisciplinary symposium is delivered by BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership and Newcastle University Institute for Creative Arts Practice. It will examine themes proposed by the multilayered work of Omer Fast, namely, narrative, truth and memory, ethics, empathy and trauma, digital media and surveillance.
