It is rewarding for us as sponsors, in the second year of our collaboration with the newly chartered Universtity of Gloucestershire, that the number of entries for The Jerwood Drawing Prize has exceeded 2000- a significant increase on the 1400 we recieved in 2001. This is a stong signal of the wealth and growing enthusiasm fof drawing in the United Kingdom.
