Description |
This extensive joint exhibition by Veli Granö and Tuovi Hippelainen explores the Finnish artists' views of the world and life stories filtered through ideas, images, narrations and memories.
The exhibition looks at the ways in which people construct reality and create meanings around them as well as developing values and conceptions of the world. The artists percieve all their work, and indeed all art, as self-portraits. Rien - Is That All? features a clay workshop, where visitors are invited to make a self portrait from clay, which will then be displayed in the gallery as part of the exhibition. |
